I heard about an independent band on National Public Radio called 4th25. Their debut album, Live from Iraq, was written and recorded in Baghdad at war, by soldiers, about soldiers.
After visiting them on-line, I found out that their album was for sale on CD Baby. When I went to buy it, all copies were sold out, so I looked around and found it on iTunes. After listening to just the firs track, I contacted Big Neal from 4th25 immediately and received permission to play "The Deployment" on my independent podsafe music podcast.
If you are interested in hearing some groovy music by independent artists, come and visit us and have a listen for yourself. If you like what you hear, subscribe to the show and for goodness sake, buy music from these independent artists.
